Port of Churchill and Hudson Bay Railway upgrades estimated at $2‑3 billion, says Arctic Gateway Group

Arctic Gateway Group, owners of the Port of Churchill and Hudson Bay Railway, estimates that basic upgrades to the port and railway would cost between $2 billion and $3 billion. The upgrade is portrayed as a prerequisite for a larger $79 billion LNG terminal plan pursued by Premier Wab Kinew. The proposal has not yet been formally approved or appeared in recent federal investment summits, leaving the project in development limbo.
