Coast Guard, 176th Wing conduct long-range medevac 58 miles south of Adak

Coast Guard and Alaska Air National Guard’s 176th Wing performed a long‑range medical evacuation 58 miles south of Adak in response to a request from a Japanese‑flagged vessel on Tuesday at about 6 a.m. The operation demonstrates cooperation between Coast Guard watchstanders and A‑National Guard assets.
