Churchill Port Restarts Grain Exports, Shipping 30,000 Tonne of Durum Wheat to the Mediterranean

Fednav's Federal Spey loaded about 30,000 tonnes of Canadian durum wheat at Churchill, the first grain export from the Arctic gateway since 2020. The cargo, supplied by AGT Foods, is destined for Europe and is the first of three shipments planned for the 2026 season under a new partnership with Arctic Gateway Group. Grain moved north via the Hudson Bay Railway from The Pas on July 17, the corridor’s first traffic since 2020.
