EventChina is building a second LNG import terminal in Yantai, Shandong – the Longkou facility operated by PipeChina with an annual receiving capacity of 5 million tonnes. Expected to be operational before October 2026, it will add to the existing Beihai terminal that has handled 41 Arctic LNG 2 shipments (≈2.6 Mt) and give Russia’s $21 B Arctic LNG 2 project another export route.
