A New Brunswick‑based charity, A Tapestry of Kindness, shipped 260 free food hampers to Iglulik on Aug. 29‑30. Items included peanut butter, noodles, beef, flour, Jello and corn. The distribution was organized by priest Zbigniew Halemba with help from local Iglulikmiut. CAP Enterprises funded the program with a $150 k donation in 2025 and pledges another $100 k this year. The charity plans to deliver more than 60 non‑perishable hampers this holiday season and will ship additional supplies to Kinngait and Nain before the sealift season ends.
