The board has created a youth advisory committee to bring Indigenous voices into caribou management decisions across Nunavut, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories. It will allow eight youths aged 18‑35 to contribute on issues like industrial development, climate change and harvest practices.
