Alaska House Rejects Senate’s LNG Pipeline Tax‑Break Bill, Lawmakers Head to Conference Committee

On June 20 the Alaska House voted 12–28 to reject a Senate‑drafted multibillion‑dollar tax break for the proposed AK LNG pipeline. The Senate had passed its version with a 0–16 vote and added corporate income taxes on privately owned companies such as Glenfarne.
